Jack & Jill

In recent years the trend of Jack & Jill baby showers has sprouted up, which means now it’s not only the ladies that are invited to eat tiny sandwiches and play games with diapers. In this day and age men and women are equals, as they should be, so it only makes sense that the husbands and boyfriends of the women that are invited to baby showers should also be invited. And of course so are the friend’s of the dad-to-be. Since he is also at the baby shower, usually downing mimosas like there is no tomorrow.

So guys if you haven’t already experienced this joyous yet sometimes awkward event filled with breast pumps, pink ribbons, and sippy cups , expect to be invited to a baby shower soon!

Our favorite part of these Jack & Jill events is watching the men try to slowly and subtly all group in the kitchen, escaping from the three-hour gift opening portion. But they can only escape for so long until the women call them back into the living room. Enjoy!
